Crochet pattern: Dragon Rose Wrap, asymmetrical wrap, easy to make, delicate crochet rose shawl perfect for mid season
The wrap is feminine and modern and perfect for in between weather. It is asymmetrical and shaped like a Dragon’s wing, and covered in delicate roses. It was designed especially for my little sister who lives in New Zealand (I am in South Africa) and I miss her everyday.
This item is a CROCHET PATTERN for a shawl / wrap. It is NOT a FINISHED shawl / wrap. It is a digital document that you purchase to download.
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
You will receive the FULL PDF pattern with a step by step photo tutorial, with lots of helpful hints along the way, and a link to a short video to show you how to make the roses and you get a PRINT FRIENDLY version.
WHAT YOU WILL MAKE:
The wrap is shaped as a dragon’s wing, with unique rosebuds along the edge of each section and is available in one size.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
14 x 50g balls Vinnis Colours Serina (100% bamboo) but you can use any yarn you like as long as you use the correct size hook for your yarn choice. My yarn is light worsted.
3 mm hook
Pearls for tassels (optional)
TENSION, GAUGE & FINISHED SIZE:
My wrap is approximately 107 cm / 42 inches in length and approximately 194 cm / 76 inches in width.
I made 7 tassels – one for each point of the shawl. There are detailed instructions to make the tassels.
NOTES & TIPS:
My pattern uses US terminology.
Crochet skill level – confident beginner/intermediate.
I have also included helpful hints along the way, which are in “italics”, and for the trickier bits there are short video clips.
Use your stitch marker as often as you can, to help with stitch counting and have FUN.
